J015 Blog Writing

The “blog” has become the preferred public relations and social networking format on the Internet for businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals of all types and for many different purposes. This is a four-week classroom course for all levels of blogging experience—including beginners—and provides clear direction on how to set up and write for any blog you wish to maintain. Among the many subjects covered are how to reach your target readers, how to ensure search engine optimization, how to check out your blog’s competition, and how to build your blog’s traffic. Examples of large and small successes are discussed. Participants are encouraged to bring their own blog into the class for discussion. For more information on this course, contact the instructor, Ingrid Sturgis: ingridsturgis@hotmail.com
