This workshop is for anyone interested in making money (or more money) as a freelance writer of short articles.  There are many types of short articles. The workshop goals are (1) to familiarize each student with the writing marketplace that exists for short articles and, (2) to provide the training needed to successfully sell to those markets. Because short articles have many potential markets (e.g., newspapers, magazines, and the Internet), this course helps each client identify the markets that best fit his or her interests and skills, and then shows the client how to research and contact the most promising prospects appropriately.  The job market for full-time and part-time short article writing is also explained. Small class size ensures personal attention.
