J005 - Introduction to Editing

This workshop is appropriate for virtually anyone responsible for approving or editing the writing of others in any business or professional field. The goal is to train the client in the basic rules and methods of professional editing. Participants will gain confidence in the use of proofreader marks, grammar and punctuation editing rules, and how to edit for a specific target audience through in-class practice and friendly peer review. Clients can also learn more about career opportunities for different types of editing work and how to break into those fields. Small class size ensures personalized attention. For more information about the class contact Andrew Richter: andrew@andrewwrichter.com.
