O-C016 Novel Writing Online

Brent Monahan has written ten successful novels--two of which have been made into films

This course is for all levels of novel writing experience—even beginners. The instructor is a highly experienced novelist who will reveal the craft and secrets of novel writing in a convenient, online forum. In a series of six steps, students will be guided through the most crucial aspects of novel construction; from plot and character development through researching the elements that reveal the right “voice” for the intended audience. There will be ample opportunities for personalized coaching. Fellow writers in this online course will also be encouraged to offer their advice in a well-managed, civil manner. This course also explains what students need to know about selling a novel; from creating the first manuscript through to preparing for the literary agent and purchasing editor. For more course information contact Dr. Brent Monahan: brentmonahan@aol.com
