An intensive, online writing course for students aged 8 through 18 who already write well but want to write better. These are students who might be leaning towards a writing career and/or wish to prepare their writing skills now for college and beyond. Above all, these students are seeking writing challenges beyond those offered in a typical grade school or high school English course. Because this course is online, it allows young students to work at their own pace in a loosely-structured eight-step program in a non-threatening environment. The instructor believes it is never too early to recognize, nurture, and guide a young student’s native writing ability.
