C030: Writing Great Speeches For Others

This workshop trains participants in the proven principles of creating successful speeches (including poliltical speeches) and is open to all levels of speech-writing experience--even beginners. Through examples and hands-on instructor guidance, this course trains participants in the development process, and provides much relevant, real-world advice to succeed. Specific topics include, how to get started, how to build a relationship between speechwriter and speaker; how to prepare the key message, and how to match objectives with writing style. This course also offers a wealth of practical, need-to-know information for every speech writer. Participants are encouraged to bring speeches in progress, or speech-writing assignments to the class.
