The online course tutors students in designing, structuring, and writing a professional questionnaire for quantitative consumer research. This course first identifies the specific questionnaire writing needs of the client and then establishes a specific six-step course to address those needs. Typically, the course covers the definition of ITBO (Information To Be Obtained) and then translates those goals into questions to be asked. Special attention is given to the most commonly-used types of evaluative, diagnostic, and probative questions used. (Note: This is a writing course and not a course in statistical analysis.) Students are encouraged to bring workplace projects into this class, if edited for confidentiality. Small class size ensures personalized direction.
