B010 – Better Business Writing

John Abbott
Instructor

The goal of this six-week class is to help each participant develop more effective, clear, and concise writing for different types of business documents including emails, letters, proposals, and presentations. Each participant is requested to bring examples of his or her workplace writing (edited for confidentiality) for discussion. Different business writing formats are practiced in class with constructive and friendly instructor guidance and peer review. The goal is to build and establish a professional writing process that ensures content that is clear, correct, concise and well-organized and a writing style that is courteous and confident. Small class size ensures that each participant will receive personalized attention. For more information on the class please contact the instructor, John Abbott: jabbott@rci.rutgers.edu.
